:) Lil Miss Pondering: In and Out (October) =

In:

Eating healthily - since my metabolism has gone up I've been eating lots of fast foods - because they taste good and fill me up very quickly. This has led to my skin looking very dull therefore I have decided to eat healthily from now on. Eating fruits gives me energy - and does wonders for my body, so why not?♥

I watched Saw 3D on Saturday and thought it was rubbish, however I LOVE the Saw series. The Saw film series is  completely different to other horror movies. This franchise involves people who take their life for granted fighting for it. It is truly gory and disgusting to watch and has a good message behind it (to be grateful about life) even though it has been done in a despicable manner.♥

I have been loving H&M. To be honest I used to think it was very overrated. I used to go into the shop and come out empty handed as nothing would appeal to me. Recently I have been LOVING it. I much prefer it to Primark (where it's super crowded and super messy) and it has decent pricing compared to other retailers. The clothes are really fashionable and affordable and I am loving the online shop - it shows you how to wear the outfit!! I seriously cannot get enough of this shop.♥

Warm water and lemon. I love to drink this before breakfast time and after dinner. I feel that it cleanses my system. I have noticed that my digestion has improved. It also tastes delicious!!♥

Straight hair. I kept it naturally curly last month but my hair has gone very dry since then. When I straighten my hair, it always looks so shiny and sleek. :)♥

Dresses. Christmas is coming up shortly and so are many of my friends birthdays. That means PARTY PARTY PARTY! I've been on the lookout for cheap and pretty dresses. I can't wait! December is my favourite month - everyone seems so cheerful :)♥

Out:

My skin has become so sensitive recently. I tried the Mac Face and Body Foundation - and it broke me out like crazy! I tried the Bobbi Brown Skin finish foundation (most perfect colour and coverage ever) and this broke me out too. I hate having sensitive skin. I've cut down on the number of products I am using and starting to eat much more healthily.

Being lazy. The cold autumn nights have made me curl up in bed instead of doing anything productive. I find it too cold to sit at my desk and study. This needs to stop or I'll fail lol.

I have been getting rid of any products that contain 'Sodium Laureth Sulphate' (SLS). It can cause irritation and cause the skin to dry. I have dry/oily t-zone and sensitive skin. This chemical will make my skin worse! I was surprised as to how many of the products I owned actually contained this toxic ingredient. Naturally I could not get rid of every product but I feel as though my skin is slowly improving.

Desperate Housewives used to be my all time favourite show. I currently feel that it is not as good as it used to be. I can understand why - the show is currently airing season 7.. maybe they are running out of ideas? I still like the show, but I liked it better in the previous seasons.

Rude people. I hate it when people are nasty, rude and vindictive.. who actually likes it? I always try to make an effort with people, although I'm quite shy at times. It annoys me when people give me silent treatment for no reason. I was bullied as a teenager and I still can't get over the fact that bullying occurs within the workplace (can't people just grow up??) :(

Lil Miss Sweet: Aquolina Pink Sugar Perfume Review :$

Hello my pretties!

Hope you are all having a lovely Monday. I get Monday mornings off woo!

Anyway, onto the perfume review.

I first heard about this year upon watching Blair, from Juicystar07 on Youtube. She mentioned that her favourite perfume was Pink Sugar. I avidly 'Googled' it and immediately wanted to buy it because of its' sweet aroma.

NOTES: Bergamot, Sicilian Orange, Raspberry, fig leaves, lily of the valley, licorice, strawberry, red fruit, cotton candy, vanilla, caramel, musk, wood and powder.

I love sweet smelling perfumes. I used to love Britney Spear's Fantasy perfume but I much prefer this.

For me it smells like cotton candy, caramel and vanilla with a hint of citrus, which makes the perfume much more enticing. Britney Spears' Fantasy on the other hand is more fruity and I became bored of it quickly because it actually made me feel sick! If you've ever tried Starbucks Caramel Hot Chocolate - this smell is very similar and will make you want to crave it too!

I literally fell in love with this perfume when I first tried it and I've bought my second bottle already. I've had lots of compliments about this perfume - from people of all ages and even guys!! People actually go crazy for this scent, this girl kept saying ' there's something in this room that smells so sweet.. it smells like cakes'.

This perfume is not widely known in the UK so it's great for originality if you live in the UK

 Summary:
Price: £27.90 for 100ml which is pretty good! I bought it from Cheapsmells.com
Longevity: I bought this perfume over a year ago and have been spritzing it every other day therfore I have a teeny bit left. I did have 50ml and now I've bought the 100ml version. I have never finished a perfume in my life, so you can tell I LOVE this. I like the fact that this scent is very versatile - you can wear it in any season. i prefer 'FRESH' scents in summer, but the hint of citrus allows me to wear it then. The perfumes lasts a good six hours - to further intensify it use vaseline or the pink sugar mousse ( I don't have this but it should work).
Smell: I LOVE sweet caramel, vanilla scents. In my opinion, if you like Fantasy by Britney Spears, you will LOVE this :)
Packaging: It comes in a candy cane patterned circular box which i use to store my pennies in. The actual bottle itself is nice - not too tacky - but the ink on the bottle has worn off (naturally).
Tips: I read that you should put it on your hair to make it last longer. I like to use it every other day to prevent my nose from getting used to the scent. i LOVE smelling it on myself :)
Repurchase? Definitely. I already have lol my sister loves it too and my mum hates it (she prefers flowery scents).
There is also a more 'adult' version out called Pink Sugar Sensual. To be honest i'M very happy with the original one :)
I personally believe the perfume is targetted at teens but I'm not a teen and i love it. I've had compliments from older ladies too if that makes a difference lol.

This perfume is like Britney Spears' fantasy - a hit or a miss for some.

Hope you guys enjoyed reading this review.

                       What's your favourite perfume?

Lil Miss Hairy: My everyday brushes #

I love brushes :) I only started getting into them last year. Most of my brushes are from a brand called Sigma. Sigma brushes are basically Mac Dupes, but for cheaper. There has been a lot of controversy with Sigma brushes - people think that they are just a bloggers scam, but i LOVE them. I haven't had any problems with their brushes, and would wholeheartedly recommend them to any 'Brush Newbie'. I wash my brushes once a week, and they seem to be in good condition. I mean there is fall out - but that's just normal.

Here is what I use everyday (for university or work)

Sigma SS150. It is massive! I love it for lightly applying Hoola bronzer all over my face. I suffer from two-tone syndrome aka my face is a lighter than my neck, and I was born like this. This brush is incredibly soft. I love it.

Sigma SS1268. I use this brush to apply blusher on the apples of my cheeks. I used to use it for contouring, however the brush is too wide. This is probably my favourite brush. I have used this everyday for a year, and after washing it it does not stain! Amazing stuff.

This is the SS217. I use it to apply darker eyeshadows on my outer V. This brush is AMAZING for blending eyeshadows. It actually makes a difference to your eyemakeup. I also use this for applying highlighter.

This is the SS224. I use this for applying eyeshadows to my crease area. This is probably the least favourite brush from Sigma. It sheds quite a bit, and is far too large for my crease area. Alternatively, you can use this to blend concealer on your face.

This is the SS239. I use this to apply eyeshadow on my lid. It really packs in the colour and has soft, natural bristles.

Coastal scents C200 Deluxe Crease. I use this brush to apply concealer onto blemishes. I find that it is really flimsy and hard to work with, but until I get another blending brush I am going to have to make do with this :(

This is the SS219. I use this to line shadows under my eye. There is a slight discolouration on the brush but I love this brush. You can also use it for the crease and outer V.

MAC 129 brush. I use this to contour on my cheekbones (my imaginery ones that is lol). I used to use this as a blush brush but it's far too narrow for that. It is kinda flat on the side, so it's great for contouring.

SS 275. I use this to apply eyeshadow on my brow bone. You can also use it for the crease or outer V.

Elf powder brush. This is probably the BEST £5 I have ever, ever, ever spent. It is so incredibly soft, and applies powder like a dream. I use this to apply powder all over my face. The only downside is that it takes ages to dry once I have washed it.

This is the SS190 brush. I use this to apply foundation. To be honest, it is nothing amazing, as I end up having my blend my foundation with my fingers anyway.

This is how I store my brushes, in a Glitzy-Glam brush holder. It was quite pricey at £15, so I recommend getting a glass container and putting beads in it, and then decorating it if you want.

Note: I am not affiliated with Sigma, even though it sounds like I am in this post lol. I do love their brushes. They are affordable, and are great alternatives to Mac brushes (which I cannot afford). If you live in the UK and do not want to buy Sigma brushes due to the shipping fees, I recommend ELF brushes. They are incredibly cheap and do the job.

*Edit, I am part of the Sigma Affiliates, which was done after I wrote this post. I did buy the brushes with my own money though..and my opinion is not biased. It is completely honest :) xxx

What brushes do you use?

Lil Miss Organised: Jewellry collection and organisation *

Hi everyone,

Hope you're having a lovely weekend. My weekend been pretty relaxing.. I feel kinda ill too.. and my skin feels really dry because of the central heating :(

This post is going to show my jewellry collection. I have a lot of jewellry (most of which I do not wear) but it looks pretty and I cannot resist buying it. Most of my jewellry is from Primark, Peacock, Accessorize, River Island and HM. I don't really do expensive jewellry. I've got a few things from Swarovksi - but that's about it. I like my cheapo stuff better :)

1)The drawer where I keep my bangles, long earrings and hair bands.

2)I use this to store my earrings :) I don't know where it's from but Muji do a similar product.

3)My lovely Panda earring holder from Claire's :) It sits on my dressing table and is highly convenient as I tend to wear these on a daily basis.

4)This gorgeous candle holder is used to store my rings. I bought it from a shop called 'Oasis' in the Isle of Wight. It's so pretty. LOVE LOVE LOVE.

5)These are my rings, and my charm bracelet from Avon at the back. Most of these are from Primark.

6)I have a tie rack on my wardrobe door. I don't really wear ties (used to during high school lol) but I use it to store my long necklaces.

Yup that's it :) My cute little collection.

I'm always looking for new ways to organise my jewellry.

How do you organise it?

Lil Miss Posey: Festival of Goddesses FOTN :$

Hello my pretties! Hope you all had a lovely weekend! Don't they go by so quickly?

I celebrated Navratri last night, which is the Hindu festival of goddesses. It involves lots of dancing, if anyone has seen Bride and Prejudice then they might be familiar with the type dancing that is involved.

As it was a religious festival, I dressed up in the appropriate attire - Indian clothing. Whenever I wear Indian clothing, my makeup tends to be quite 'all out'. That means no nude lips... and lots of blusher and heavy eye makeup, hehe.

Here are some photos from last night :)

 Outfit of the night

Sorry, had to be done lol!

Some more photos:

During dandhya raas (dancing with sticks)

It was such an amazing atmosphere

Hope you all enjoyed looking at the pics, and maybe got an idea of a Hindu Festival.

If you've read my previous 'FOTN' posts you've probably realised I use the same products everytime! I really need to be a bit more creative and start using other products lol

Have a great week folks,

Lil Miss Nibbles: Graze.com Review and a Mini Giveaway! ^

Hello my lovelies! Hope y'all having a very relaxing weekend! I certainly am, a bit too relaxing me thinks!

Anyway, I wanted to talk about Graze.com. I don't think many people know about it so I'm just going to explain the concept of it :)

Click on this link to enter the lovely website.

Graze.com is 'healthy eating by post'. As y'all know, I'm a bit of a sucker when it comes to being healthy and living well! I do love junk food, but i also loves food rich in vitamins. Remember, 'health is beauty' (got this quote from America's Next Top Model lol)

Basically Graze is a website that delivers a box of healthy food to you :)

It costs just £3.29 which I think is pretty reasonable. I ordered from them 2 weeks ago and I was very happy with the delivery time and the food itself! I ordered the 'Nibble Box' which is a pre-customised box because I was too lazy to choose some specific nibbles. There is a wide variety of nibbles that you can order, which can be quite overwhelming!

How it works:
1) You choose a type of box and tell them how often you would like it.
2) Tell Graze.com how much you like the food in their range.
3)Graze hand pick your box based on your tastes.
4) They deliver you the box, first class ;) You don't even have to be at home.. it goes straight through your post box!

When they sent me the box (the pre-customised one), they filled it with a variety of foods, with a variety of health benefits for example, they sent me some Low GI nibbles, some energy foods and some immunity boosting foods.

To buy or not to buy?
I would highly recommend Graze.com! I'm very happy with their service and the information they sent in the post. Graze.com send you a little personalised booklet of your food choices and how they will benefit you; I loved this touch! Personalisation makes me feel special hehe ;)

The box is kind of small (sorry I didn't take any photos because I was too busy munching haha) but my mummy and I shared the contents and we were pretty satisfied.

I would not order a box every week (bit expensive me thinks), probably as a once a month treat! There are lots of vouchers codes available on the net where you can get your first box free and your second box for half price.

This brings me onto the mini mini mini giveaway!

Giveaway:

When I ordered from Graze.com they sent me a little note saying I could give a lil code to my friends which will enable them to receive their Graze box for free! I thought I'd give one to you guys (I was given three) as you deserve it. Obviously only one person can get it. I think this a good way for those who are interested in this site to try it! What do I get in return, one pound off my next order; so thank you.. we are helping each other!

So if you want a free Graze box, worth £3.29 (I told you this would be a mini giveaway lol!) then simply type 'Enter me' and also give me your email address. I'm going to send you the code via email! This giveaway is ending on Wednesday the 6th of October 23.59 It's only for those who live in the UK unfortunately, Graze only delivery nationwide. Sowwie :( so HURRY HURRY HURRY!

You do not have to be a follower of my blog (it would be nice if u were :p) because I want to spread the message of being healthy to everyone.

Btw, just in case you're wondering, I am not affiliated with Graze.com, I have not been sent the product for free and well, basically I haven't been paid to write this post. Oh and I'm being totally honest, as always lol.

I am going to be doing a giveaway soon.. not too soon.. but soon enough. So watch this space...

Hope you enjoyed reading this post.

+ Lil Miss Review: Mac Fix Plus

Hi guys :) I haven't done a review in ages!! Anyway, I'm going to review the lovely Fix Plus spray by Mac.

Fix plus is a product that some would regard as their Holy Grail Product, whilst others would regard it as a waste of money.

What Mac say:
An aqua-spritz of vitamin and minerals, infused with a calm-the-skin blend of green tea, chamomile, cucumber, topped off with the fresh, natural, energizing scent of Sugi. Adds radiance, finishes makeup. Spray it on. Skin drinks it up!

I purchased this product last year because I loved the fact that it was some sort of setting spray. I have dry skin, and also use powder to set my makeup which is a recipe for disaster. Fix plus helps transform a powdery, caked up look into a more dewy look - perfect for the day time!

Summary:
Price: £11.00
Longevity: I've had mine for nearly a year. I've got a about a quarter left of the spray. I feel like it is not working as well as it used to.
Usage: I use this product after I've done my makeup. I hold it about 20cm away from my face and spray it 3-4 times. I don't use this product before a night out or before taking photos - It makes my face look PLAIN GREASY.
Feeling: It really wakes you up and makes you feel invigorated. I only use this as a setting spray.. if I used it every time I felt sleepy - I would run out in a month lol! When you first spray it it makes your face look wet.. but after about 30 seconds.. your face looks dewy! I have extremely sensitive skin, and I was surprised that this didn't break me out :)
Packaging: It's Mac, hence looks very sleek. The nozzle head is not rotating as well as it used to... I guess everything deteriorates.
Tips: You can use this product to make eye shadows look even more pigmented on the eyelid. There are plenty of uses for this product. If you're interested,  just google them :)
Repurchase? Probably not. My skin has become slightly oily recently (since I've been taking omega 3 fish oil capsules to be precise). Fix + just seems to make it look even more oily. I love the fact that it really wakes me up and makes me feel like I'm wearing no makeup. I don't feel that it sets my makeup or makes it last any longer .The smell is refreshing, similar to that of a herbal essence shampoo. I may repurchase this product if my skin becomes dry.

I know some people would just regard it as expensive water in a bottle, but I would never spray water on my face - it would completely dry it out!

I would recommend this product to anyone with dry skin.. or anyone who likes the dewy effect!

Edit (24/10/10): My skin has become much dryer recently (I blame central heating!) therefore I will repurchase Fix + :) It is actually amazing =D

:) Lil Miss Pondering: In and out (September) =

In:

Sabrina the Teenage Witch. My lovely brother got me all of the seasons as a pressie and I am loving them! I used to watch this show as a kid.. and I still enjoy it now. It's truly magical. I finally get all of the jokes lol!

Peppermint and Nettle tea. I've been loving this tea after my evening meal. It really helps to cleanse your system, oh and nettle tea is great for your skin! Woohoo!

Working out. I used to hate working out.. but now I feel so amazing afterwards, so for thirty minutes of feeling the burn you get 24 hours of feeling amazing..it's totally worth it. Plus seeing a change in your body is great!

Leaving my hair natural.
Not only do I save time in the morning, but I save my hair from getting damaged due to high temperatures. Woohoo.

weheartit.com I love looking at this website; something about it makes me appreciate the finer things in life :)

Vampire Diaries Season 2. Vampires Diaries is back on! Season 2 has started very well and I'm really looking forward to watching the rest. BTW I think Nina Dobrev is so so stunning! I want her hair!

Out:
Working. I'm really happy that I'm back to uni soon :) I love my part time job.. but it's very stressful and I end up coming home late which messes up my evening :(

Shimmery eyeshadows. I used to LOVE them, but now i prefer matte eyeshadows. I feel that matte eyeshadows can change the shape of your eye as they provide more definition and they are definitely more work friendly.
Straight hair. Dead straight hair doesn't suit me.. I like a bit of a wave. I feel that curly hair gives me more personality (I'm not saying that people with straight hair are boring.. I feel that it looks boring on me!)

Nail polish.
I used to love painting my talons in an array of colours, but now I can't be bothered. I have simply no patience to be sitting there watching paint dry, and I always end up smudging it grr! Also, my nails have become so brittle and weak as of late, and I feel that the nail polish has partly to blame.

I can't think of anything else! lol!
