Zara Night Eau De Parfum

I really love Zara clothing - the quality is great, and the style of their clothes is so current, but I never thought I would end up buying perfume from there!

A few months ago, my sister came home with a perfume - my mum and I fell in love with it straight away, and we were shocked to find out that it only cost £10.

The next time I went to Zara, I picked it up, but in a bigger size (80ml) for £15. The smaller size (40ml) costs £10. You can even purchase it from the website (they have recently added the perfumes on their website)

I love the packaging - the gold stickers on the side are a little tacky but it looks very similar to the Chanel Chance perfume bottle.

The top note is Bergamot, the middle note is Peony and the base note is Vanilla. My mother detests the smell of vanilla but she seems to love this perfume.

I think the perfume is perfect for a night out! Plus, because it's such good value for money, I feel comfortable enough to take it on holiday with me!

Daisy Dream

One of the best things about going on holiday is duty free shopping! A few weeks ago, I picked up 'Daisy Dream' which is Marc Jacob's latest addition to their blooming wonderful perfume collection!

The first thing that I love about this perfume is the bottle. It is the most beautiful perfume bottle I have ever seen, and it also looks great in my room. I think I will keep the perfume on show even after I have used it up! I have an obsession with anything baby blue at the moment!

The top notes are grapefruit, pear and blackberry
The middle notes are wisteria, jasmine and lichi
The bottom notes are whitewood, musk and coconut

I find it quite similar to the Daisy 'Eau so fresh' perfume, but this one has more of a 'floral' scent. It's the perfect daytime scent in my opinion!

Lil Miss Aromatic: My new favourite perfume...+

One of my new obsessions this year (apart from home decor and clothes) is perfume! I have purchased four new perfumes this year - which is very unlike me!

I decided to treat myself to the Marc Jacobs Eau So Fresh perfume at duty free - 'tax free' just makes things look more enticing ;)

This scent reminds me of parma violets (my favourite sweet) - and it's fresh enough to wear for work! I love it! It also lasts all day and isn't too overpowering!

 Here are the notes:

  • Top Note: Natural Raspberry, Grapefruit, Pear
  • Middle Note: Violets, Wild Rose, Apple Blossom
  • Dry Base: Musks, Cedarwood, Plum

Summary:
  • Price: It costs around £40 for a 75ml bottle
  • Longevity: It lasts all day, which is a plus :)
  • Scent: I haven't met anyone who doesn't like the scent! I personally would wear it during the day - it's not strong enough for evening wear
  • Packaging: This bottle looks beautiful on my dressing table!
  • Repurchase: Definitely!

Lil Miss Aromatic: D&G The One Review

I decided to treat myself to ANOTHER perfume a few weeks ago. I found this on BuyaPowa for £35 gone down from £52 - so I decided to buy it straight away! I love bargains - they make me so happy!

I have lusted after the D&G perfume for a long time - probably years, but I never got round to purchasing it.

This perfume is PERFECT for evening wear. It's so 'womanly', elegant and expensive smelling - it's definitely my favourite perfume right now!

It's quite difficult to describe a perfume in a blog post, but here are the notes:

Top notes: Mandarin, Peach, Bergamot and Lychee
Middle Notes: Jasmine, Muguet, Madonna Lily
Base notes: Vanilla, Amber, Musk, Vetiver, Plum

 Summary:
PriceYou can purchase a 50ml version for around £42, which is worth it because it smells amazing!
Longevity: This perfume pretty much lasts all day!
Scent: Very elegant - great for adults (more so adults than teenagers)
Packaging: Very classic and simple.
Repurchase: Yes!

Lil Miss Aromatic: Viva La Juicy Perfume Review!

I recently decided to treat myself to two new perfumes (the other one being D&G The One - which I will be doing a separate post on). I have finally become bored of Pink Sugar - which is far too sweet for me!

I have never been compelled by the Juicy Couture brand - their bags and clothing simply did not appeal to me. On the other hand, their perfumes have always tempted me! I've been meaning to purchase Viva La Juicy for a long time, but I finally got round to buying it a few weeks ago!

This scent is perfect if you're into sweet smells - it would make a great gift for any girly girl ;) It contains my favourite scents: caramel and vanilla!

It's quite difficult to describe a perfume in a blog post, but here are the notes:

Top Note: Wild berries and Mandarin Orange
Middle Note: Honey suckle, Gardenia and Jasmine Base
Base Note: Amber, Caramel, Vanilla, Sandalwood and Praline

I personally think that this perfume is great for using at work or school - although it's not so bold enough for evening wear.

Summary:
PriceYou can purchase a 50ml version for around £37, which is pretty good value!
Longevity: This perfume doesn't last as long as I hoped! It's also not very strong - which is a shame, because I adore the scent!
Scent: If you love Pink Sugar, Britney Spears Fantasy - but you want a milder version, then this is the perfume for you!
Packaging: I love the packaging! This perfume stands out compared to my other perfumes! Some may say it's tacky, but I love the bow and the Juicy necklace hanging of it! So cute!
Repurchase: Yes!
