Lil Miss Summery: Back from Zante!!

Hi guys! I'm finally back from Zante, Greece.

I had the most amazing time; I went with my sister and my friends to lovely Greece. If you like clubbing and super hot weather - I urge you to check out Zante.

We went clubbing for 7 nights in a row - and mostly until 5am! It was exhausting but super fun. Unfortunately, I became quite ill during the last few days (my body was telling me to slow down lol!) We also went to a water park, visited the Blue Caves and the gorgeous Shipwreck beach.

Here are some photos of the trip:

Outside our hotel, we stayed at Hotel Margarita which was all inclusive! I would highly recommend it!
Our first night clubbing :)
I ended up tying up my hair - it was too hot inside!
On the lilo - think someone pushed me over after this photo was taken lol
My best friend and I kissing my sister lol
We were called the craziest girls in Zante lol!
Water Park!
My dare was to take a photo with a random guy lol. We played dares all night - it was so much fun!
Pouting of course

Me in a £3.99 HM dress!
Me about to jump on a turtle.
Plaits for a night out - there's a first time for everything!
  Shipwreck beach
  Shipwreck beach
Blue Caves
I was really ill this night so I wasn't bothered to do my makeup. I didn't wear fake lashes - and I felt far more comfortable without them!

We had t-shirts made for our trip, with nicknames on the back!

This was the ultimate clubbing holiday! I loved the music in the clubs. The people were very friendly, especally the Greek people, we all made some lovely friends! This is one place I would definitely go back to!

Has anyone been to Greece before?

:)Lil Miss Pondering: In and Out =

I'm back with my Ins and Outs :) June was a mammoth month for me - I had so many exams!! I'm so glad it's over!

Ins:
Restaurants:
I seriously love going to restaurants - I think I spend a lot of my money on food! My idea of a night out is to eat at a lovely restaurant and then maybe drink at a bar. My favourite restaurants are Vapiano, Ping Pong, Pizza Express and Desperados (mostly for the non-alcohol cocktail though!) I really want to try and explore other places to eat. Source.

Clubbing:
I've recently been enjoying clubbing again - after disliking it for ages! The best thing about clubbing is the dressing up - but also walking down Leicester Square at night time; it's so beautiful and busy! One of the worst things about clubbing is the journey back home - but taking a cab solves the problem.  The photo above is from a recent night out :)

Summer dresses:
I purchased a few summer dresses from Primark for my holiday. To be honest, I didn't go crazy! I just prefer to chill during the day, and I did not want to be spending mammoth amounts on clothes just for a holiday! I seriously love pretty little floral dresses, as opposed to shorts and a t-shirt! Source

Being confident:
With exams looming (especially practical exams), I needed a little bit of confidence. I've always been shy and reserved around people I've never met (and some intimidating people) but talkative with my friends. I've started listening to the 'I can make you confident by Paul Mckenna' and it has definitely helped me open up. It definitely helped me with my practical exams, and now I feel less uneasy when approaching people :) Source

Outs:
Exams:
Yay Exams are over - but June was plagued by them! It was super stressful - I noticed I was comfort eating a lot and not exercising. I need to go back to my old routine of working out at least 3 times a week and eating healthily. The stress has played havoc on my skin - which was doing well and then decided to break out grrr! Source.

I can't think of any more Outs.. I'm so glad I'm done with June 2011 - it was super tough!
Now I've got summer 2011 to look forward to :) WOOO!!

What are your Ins and Outs?

Lil Miss Adventurous: Makeup I'm taking on holiday! +

Hi guys! Sorry I've been MIA.. my exams have literally just finished! I feel like I'm back to being happy again :) Blogging more often will now commence - yay!

My makeup usually gets ruined on holiday so I'm taking this lunch bag to keep it cool. When I get to my destination I will be putting the lipsticks in the fridge for extra protection!

I know I'm taking loads - I will actually remove some makeup from the bag as I feel like I'm taking too much! Conversely, I am going for 7 nights and will be going clubbing every single night, therefore it is needed. LOL

Anyone going on holiday this year? x

Lil Miss Shiny: Glossy Box for June!

Hi guys! I'm so sorry I haven't blogged in ages - I've still got exams left and I'm super stressed! I therefore decided to give myself an evening off!

Last month, I read about the Glossy Box. The Glossy box is a company which sends you five miniature products for only £10 a month! I've subscribed to them so I will be receiving a gorgeous box with five new products every month. As a beauty blogger, I LOVE trying new products - and a mere £10 a month is a great way to do so!

Here is what I got this month:

1) Batiste dry shampoo - a lovely mini sized version! I love Batiste products - I definitely can't live without them - glad I got a travel sized one in my box :)

OPI Extravagance nail polish - I've got it on right now - such a pretty colour!

Bioeffect Serum - this stimulates the growth of new skin cells which can result in a great complexion and younger looking skin. I can't wait to try this out!

Mama Mio body buff - This scrub has a gentle blend of Sweet Almond Oil, chamomile, Aloe Vera, Vitamin E and Pumise!

Lalique perfume - I'm not very fond of this perfume - it reminds me of aftershave!

I know some people received Rouge Bunny Rouge lip glosses in their boxes - I'm so jealous.

I may do a review on these products if I like them :)

You can buy your very own Glossy Box from here.

P.S I purchased the box with my own money :) Honest opinion, as always ;)

Anyway, I went to my best boy mates' brothers' 18th birthday (who happens to be my sisters best boy mate) last night. It was a bar/club, which was quite far from my home! All in all, the music was great - and I was surprisingly extrovert (I'm usually really shy - especially in clubs lol).

Lil Miss Random: The effect of exams :$

  • Exams are looming, and exercise has gone down the drain. I hope I exercise tomorrow - all motivation seems to have resided somewhere else. The photo above is providing some sort of inspiration.
  • Exams also means lots of shopping - I guess the stress of exams is alleviated by a spot of retail therapy.
  • I am in LOVE with Britain's Got Talent - exam stress also leads to prolonged procrastination. My favourite is Steven Hall. He is just awesome.

  • Speaking of retail therapy.. I've finally purchased the Urban Decay Naked Palette. I'm probably the last Beauty Blogger on Earth to buy it. I can't wait to do a review.
  •  I am in LOVE with Amie Skincare. Thank you for saving my skin.
  • In regards to skincare - using lemon juice on my face has helped clear my acne scars.
  • I'm so excited about Zante - I keep nipping to Primark to buy pretty summer dresses.

Hope you enjoyed this random ramble!!!

:) Lil Miss Pondering: In and Out =

Hi guys! I'm back with my Ins and Outs! My exams are starting next week so I may not be blogging or tweeting so much!

I feel that May has whizzed by! I hope June whizzes by - it's going to be a super tough month for me.

Here are my Ins and Outs for this month:

Ins
Desserts. This month I have been craving sweet treats (stressed is desserts spelled backwards remember!) I've always preferred savoury snacks as opposed to sugary ones but recently I've been indulging in cake (my fave being lemon drizzle cake), panna cotta and cheesecakes! Source

Pilates. I've been using this pilates DVD since February and I've noticed a difference in my posture. I put it down to pilates - this gives you results! Pilates is a form of exercise, which emphasizes the balanced development of the body, flexibility, and awareness in order to support efficient, graceful movement. I may do a review on this DVD if you guys want me to! Source

The Apprentice. Yay the Apprentice is currently airing in the UK. The Apprentice is definitely my favourite reality tv show! It's super funny, and it also teaches you a lot of smart tactics! If you don't watch this show, you are missing out!! Source

Raspberries - I don't know why, but I'm strongly attracted to raspberry scents.. and desserts lol. I love Raspberry Daiquiri, raspberry cheesecake.. even my cleanser has raspberry in it! I'm looking for a perfume with raspberry hints now. Source

Eye shadows: I've been eyeshadow crazy this month! I finally spent my Debenhams voucher I received on my 21st birthday! I purchased 4 Mac eye shadows! I purchased Satin Taupe, Black Tied, Tempting and Embark. I can't wait to review them! Source

Outs:
Judging people. I've learnt a massive lesson this month - to stop judging people unless you get to know them. I've come across people who say horrible things about others, and me being quite naive, I believe them. I'm now going to make my own mind up about people! Source

Exercise. I've had to cut down on exercise this month. Moves such as the plank move (such as the above photo) make me feel very dizzy! I've had to reduce working out everyday to every other day! This time last month, I was working out everyday - my body found it too much! I hope I haven't messed up my balance system.... Source

Last month's aims:
1) Do some YouTube workouts - I did one but I prefer DVDs.
2)Cut down on blogging during the week, due to exams- yes.. most of the time I didn't blog during the week!
3) Don't experiment with anymore skincare products - my skin has improved a lot during the last month. I will be doing a skincare post once my skin has cleared up a bit more!

Next month's aims:
1) Build up confidence!
2) Study harder.
3) Don't let people put you down.

What are your Ins and Outs?

Lil Miss Glamorous: Cut-out dresses!

When I saw this photo of Selena Gomez, I've been loving 'cut-out dresses'! To be honest, I never liked them before, until I saw this photo!

Here is Cheryl Cole donning a 'cut out dress'

I personally think cut-out dresses are stunning! I don't think I would purchase one myself as my stomach is my major trouble area! However, I like looking at cut-out dresses as they inspire me to work out!

Here are my top picks:

All dresses are from Missguided.co.uk - my new favourite clothing site!
What do you think of 'cut-out dresses?'
Love from Rosh x

P.S I am not affiliated with Missguided.co.uk. All opinions are my own!
