Lil Miss Hairy: Naked Shampoo Review ^

Naked Rescue Intensive Care Shampoo – frizzy, damaged hair

I recently purchased the Naked 'Intensive Care Shampoo' for Frizzy, Damaged hair.

I've used this for the past two weeks and I've seen a noticeable difference in my hair.

My hair is so much more shiny and voluminous.

If you haven't heard of Naked, it's a fairly new brand to come to the UK (i'm not sure if it exists in other countries) but all of the products are free from: parabens, Sodium Laureth Sulphate (SLS), petrochemicals and phtalates! Here's the link if you want to read more about these chemicals.

To be honest I never worried about the shampoos I used, but recently my hair has been falling out a lot and I decided to venture out into natural shampoos.

Even though this shampoo does not have SLS it still lathers up - obviously not as well as other shampoos! I've also tried the Naked Shampoo for long hair but it wasn't as good because I didn't see results. I've also used the shampoo for coloured hair (I used my mums') but it didn't lather very well.

Price:
Varies. I bought two for £6 but they sell each one for £3.99!

What do you think of it?
I really do like it and I will definitely be trying out other products in the range. I didn't try out the conditioner because I already have many unused conditioners at home. I try to massage in the shampoo as much as possible on my hair. This shampoo hasn't made me break out - some hair products slide down on my face and break my very sensitive skin out.

Longetivity?
You get a 250ml product so it should last quite long. I may stock up next time there's an offer.

Packaging?
I like the shape of the bottle and the lid. The lid is one of those 'pop up' lids where you press a button and it raises the dispenser. I think that it would be great for travelling as it seems very secure.

Disadvantages?
Some people may not like the scent. The shampoo for frizzy or damaged hair smells of sweet almonds - it's probably not the best scent but I don't really mind it. My sister hugged me yesterday and then quickly let go - saying she hated how my hair smelled lool!

Would you recommend this product?
I would recommend it. There are lots of different shampoos and conditioners for different hair types. They also do body washes, face wash, hand wash and so on. You can buy them from here or here.
P.S - not affiliated with Naked or Boots. My honest opinion, as always :D xx

Have you tried anything from the Naked range?
Love from Roshas xxx

  4. I've tried the Naked shower gel which I really liked as the scent wasn't too strong. I'd be interested in trying this as I love the Liz Earle SLS free shampoo but it's quite expensive x
