Lil Miss Glamorous: Nephews Birthday :)

Hi guys! Hope you're having a fab weekend!

A few weeks ago, I guest posted on Kaushals blog at Beauty Fulfilled. (Please follow her if you already don't - her blog is amazing!) In case you missed the post, here it is:

I went to my nephews 1st birthday party a few weeks ago! Here are some photos:

My outfit is from Bombay Looks- a store which I use regularly to buy Indian outfits :)

My beautiful niece and I

I had literally come back from holiday, and I was sporting a tan! Unfortunately, my foundation was far too light for me, so I compensated by adding lots of matte bronzer! I didn’t want to fork out £20 for a new shade of foundation (my tan fades quickly anyway) so I used what I already had in my collection!
Face makeup:
Studio Fix Powder Foundation in C40
Mac Moisture cover concealer in NC30for under eyes
Mac Fix +to set (this makes my skin look dewy, which is very helpful as I use a power based foundation)
Cheeks:
Benefit Hoola Bronzerall over face
Body Shop Blush Trio in Warm Sunset on apples of the cheeks
I decided not to add highlighter on my cheekbones as the blusher already had lots of shimmer, and I did not want to look like a glitter ball!

Eyes (sorry about the rubbish photo!):
I used my naked palette for this look!
Urban Decay Half Baked and Smog all over the lid.
Urban Decay Creep on the outer V and blended slightly in the crease.
Mac Cork eyeshadow on the crease
Art Deco eyeshadow in no.29on brow bone.
Collection 2000 liquid eyelinerto line upper and lower line.
Sleek kajal eyelinerin the inner rim of the eye
Eyelure lashes in no.101.
Lips:
Bobbi Brown lipstick in Carnation

I’ve been struggling with applying fake lashes recently but I’ve noticed that they make a massive difference to my eyes. They really open them up and add a glamorous touch to my makeup.

I wanted to keep the main emphasis on my lashes, therefore I did not extend the eyeshadow above the crease. As I have very small eyes, I try not to add too many dark colours near the crease because it closes up my eyes even more! My tip for small eyes is to use a warm brown eyeshadow to outline the eye socket in order to create depth.

Hope you all enjoyed this post!!
